World renowned auctioneers Phillips De Pury use MAGIC Live to broadcast their auctions live over the internet.

They commissioned us to build a state of the art live player for their website. This shows the live video feed alongside a photo and text description of each lot which changes as the auction progresses, and also allows Phillips De Pury to broadcast messages to viewers throughout.

With telephone bidders following the auction on the Phillips De Pury website, it is vital that the live stream is high quality, reliable, has minimal delays and synchronises accurately with the lot photo and information. By having StreamCity design a custom player and owning a MAGIC Live license, this has enabled Phillips De Pury to bring the whole auction webcasting system in-house. Case Study : Alex Thomson Racing

Alex Thomson Racing approached StreamCity to enquire if it would be possible to stream live from on board his yacht during the prestigious "Rolex Fastnet Race".

Streaming live from hundreds of miles in the ocean is a tricky business! However, using our webcast expertise we were able to partner with Satellite provider Livewire to successfully deliver a series of 10 minute broadcasts to achieve Alex's goals.
